- Visas

International students need to apply for a visa to study in the UK. Your academic department is your main contact for issues relating to visas and you should direct all enquiries to them in the first instance. Detailed information and guidance can be found on the University’s Visa and Immigration pages.
- Disability and welfare
-
The College and University provides extensive support for students with disabilities and long-term health conditions, including sensory or mobility impairments, specific learning difficulties, autistic spectrum conditions and mental health difficulties. Support is tailored to individual needs, and may include study support, examination adjustments and domestic arrangements. Please see the Disability Advisory Service’s website for detailed information about adjustments, support, and funding.
If you have a disability or long-term health condition please get in touch with us, even if you don’t think that you will need any support. The College’s Welfare Co-Ordinator is always happy to talk to all offer holders about disability, or about any other concerns or worries. The College’s Nurse, Counsellor, and Disability Co-Ordinator are also available for support and advice.
- Accommodation
-
Lincoln College usually has around 100 rooms dedicated to graduate freshers, spread across our sites. These are made available for graduate freshers to book in line with our Graduate Priority Policy. Within each band, accommodation is made available on a first-come-first-served basis and we will notify you when rooms are released for your band. Students wishing to book rooms need to apply via our Accommodation Portal and a pre-payment of one week’s rent will be required to reserve your room.
The timeline for applications is as follows:
Early May 2025: Applications open – this is your opportunity to tell us if you are interested in graduate accommodation. If you do not fill in an application, we will assume you do not want College accommodation and will not bombard you with emails about it!
7 July 2025: Bookings open for bands 1 and 2
9 July 2025: Bookings open for band 3
11 July 2025: Bookings open for band 4
Bookings remain open until all rooms have been booked. If you are unsuccessful in reserving a room, you will have the option of joining our waiting list.
Students with requirements for accessible rooms or who require reasonable adjustments in line with the Equality Act 2020 are invited to get in touch with the Accommodation Team directly. Further information is also available during the application and booking process.
Please find our Grad Accommodation FAQs here. A guide to our Bookings Process is also available.
