Stipendiary Lectureship in Law

Lincoln College invites applications for an 8-hour Stipendiary Lectureship in Law, starting 1 September 2026 or as soon as possible thereafter, to cover short-term teaching needs in the subject. The post is available from 1 September 2026 to 31 August 2027 and is not renewable. The successful candidate will be expected to teach an average of 8 contact hours per week. The lecturer will be expected to teach Trusts (to students from Lincoln, Corpus Christi, and Balliol Colleges); Land Law (to students from Lincoln and Balliol Colleges).

Director of Music

This is a new role which has been created to develop and provide support for music in the College, in particular in the Chapel and for the College’s 600th anniversary celebrations (2027-28).

Lincoln College Chapel provides worship for the college community and is an important centre for
both the spiritual and musical life of the College. The principal service is Choral Evensong, with
occasional additional services for special occasions, all during term-time. The style of worship is
broadly within the cathedral tradition (BCP evensong, Common Worship eucharist).

IT Operations and Network Engineer

We are seeking an experienced and proactive IT Operations and Network Engineer to join our small IT team and provide hands-on support across the College’s IT estate.

Working closely with the Head of IT, the postholder will play a key role in the day-to-day operation, support and continued development of the College’s IT services. This is a broad, hands-on role requiring someone who is comfortable responding to everyday IT operational issues, while also bringing strong technical experience in network infrastructure, including firewalls, switches and associated network equipment.

This internship will focus on analysing the College’s procurement practices to identify opportunities for improving sustainability, cost efficiency, and supplier consolidation. The role combines data analysis, stakeholder engagement, and sustainability assessment to support more strategic purchasing decisions.
