Lincoln College has long been working to become more sustainable. In the past year, a lot has happened in this area, including receiving Gold in the Green Impact Awards, removing all remaining diesel appliances, aquiring a new electric van, making further biodiversity improvements and starting to track our emissions.

And now there is also a new, more detailed page on the website where you can read more about Lincoln’s work to become more sustainable. This page brings together information on improving biodiversity, emissions and energy use, sustainability and buildings, our investments, sustainability governance, the Green Impact Team as well as sustainability news. There is also an updated Sustainability Statement outlining the College’s vision, which you can find HERE.

Peter Nitsche-Whitfield, Lincoln’s Sustainability Coordinator, said: “We have come a long way in the past year in understanding key impacts as well as reducing them. I am happy that we can now share more information about what we have been doing with the Lincoln community.”
