Treatment

• Spine leather lifted along board edge and spine covering.
• Tabs of Friebe cotton inserted along spine edge at each panel, adhered with wheat starch paste. Later adhered underneath board covering leather with wheat starch paste.
• Toned Kozo fibre paper adhered over the top of fabric at each panel.
• Original leather re-adhered back into place along joint.
• Left inner joint repaired with Kozo tissue toned with acrylics.
• Detaching fragments of lower paper shelfmark label adhered into place with wheat starch paste.
