- Visually distracting remaining purple cloth joint strip from a failed c19th/early c20th repair removed.
- Glue, cloth debris and dirt removed from where this strip had been with wheat starch paste poultice.
- Head-edge of text-block selectively cleaned of surface dirt with latex sponge.
- The detached cloth-covered paperboards were put into a folder in the new Kasemake box.
