Apply for a Senior Scholarship

Up to five Senior Scholarships are available from October 2024 for graduate students who are reading for a higher degree at Lincoln College. The awards are not confined to any particular subject. The Scholarships are awarded for one year in the first instance, and may be renewed for one further year. Current holders of Senior Scholarships who will still be on course over the whole of the academic year 2024-25 may apply for renewal by the same deadline. Renewals count within the available total of five scholarships.

The Scholarships are awarded on academic merit, not for financial need. Preference will normally be given to candidates in their second year of postgraduate study at the time of application.

The Scholarship carries an emolument of £350 and limited dining rights at High Table during full term. Senior Scholars will be guaranteed a room in College graduate accommodation.

The deadline for application is 1 June 2024.

Referees’ letters, addressed to the Senior Tutor, should be emailed directly to the Admissions Officer, admissions@lincoln.ox.ac.uk, by the deadline stipulated.

Applicants may be asked to provide samples of written work.
