Hannah Edwards Elected President of Oxford Union for Trinity 2024

Huge congratulations to Hannah Edwards for being elected as the President of the Oxford Union. Having served previously as the Librarian or Vice President during Trinity Term, she'll serve as President for Hilary Term 2024. Hannah is a second-year undergraduate studying PPE at Lincoln.

Hannah said, “I am extremely honoured and excited to have been elected President of the Oxford Union for Hilary 2024. I’m lucky to come from such a supportive college - I’m really grateful for the support of my Lincoln peers, many who voted for me in four different elections! I got into the Union because I love debating, and I’m keen to ensure that experience is shared by the members: I’m going to give Thursday night debate speeches back to the members, as well as run a Comedy debate and an Intervarsity debate with other Universities. I also have plans for a happy hour in the bar, a Burns Night Ceilidh, President’s Drinks and more! However, before I do that, my first job as President-elect is to organise the Fresher’s Membership drive, a task I look forward to working on this summer.”
