Boat Naming Ceremony at the Summer Eights

On Sunday 28 May we held a boat naming ceremony in honour of two new boats. Professor Raymond Dwek CBE (1964) and his wife Sandra Dwek donated a new W1 boat. Raymond was very keen to support the women’s rowing teams. Darren Marshall (1984) funded the new M1 boat and also supports the LCBC with an annual sponsorship of the Club through his company rEvolution. The two boats - Filippi F54 and F29 models with aluminium wing riggers - are said to be the finest the LCBC has ever owned!

We are also grateful to the LCBCS for its ongoing support of equipment for the Club.
