Lincoln for Life Fund

The Lincoln for Life Fund provides awards to the JCR and MCR, to support projects for the student community.  Applications to this fund are open throughout the academic year, and can be made by officers of the JCR and MCR.  For more information about how to apply for an award from the Lincoln for Life Fund, please contact Jane Mitchell at jane.mitchell@lincoln.ox.ac.uk.

What is the Lincoln for Life Fund?

The Fund is made possible by generous donations from Lincoln leavers, young alumni and funding from the University’s Young Alumni Challenge Match.  The Fund is inspired by the ethos of ‘paying it forward’, and each year has seen students who are finishing their time at Lincoln choose to make a parting gift to College, to help ensure that the next generation have an enriched experience of Lincoln. The Lincoln for Life Fund has supported projects such as:

  • The refurbishment of the JCR.
  • New bicycles for the JCR.
  • The MCR trip to Lincolnshire.
  • Lincoln Unites events.
  • Games, film projectors and sports equipment, used during the pandemic.
  • Mindfulness sessions.
