Please join fellow members of the Murray Society for a visit to the Scott Polar Institute in Cambridge followed by a tour of Downing, our sister College. Founded in 1800, Downing was the only college added to Cambridge University between 1596 and 1869, and is often described as the oldest of the new colleges and the newest of the old.

13:00: Lunch in the West Lodge and Maitland Room, Downing College
14:30: Tour of Downing College led by Dr Paul Millett
