Broken upper joint bridged with strip of aerocotton laminated with acrylic-toned Hasegawa thick Japanese paper (toned to match earlier failed parchment repair, as replicating original structure not possible)
Lower board secured and upper board re-attached with linen thread passed below supports and adhered onto the lacing-in point.
