This form is used to apply for The Berrow Foundation Scholarships and The Berrow Foundation Lord Florey Scholarships. Please read the requirements and criteria for these awards carefully, as described on the Berrow Foundation page, and make sure that they have been met when you submit your application.

Please note that applicants must complete the Berrow Foundation Scholarships application form (Scholarship application) AND a separate University of Oxford application form (University application). The Scholarship application does not comprise or replace the University application, whose closing date is generally later. All admissions information and online application forms for graduate entry are available on the University of Oxford website. Please also check your chosen course website for the relevant deadline.

Application Form - Overview of Sections

The deadline for Scholarship applications for 2027-28 entry is 28 August 2026 with interviews taking place in Geneva on 30 October 2026.

By submitting your application, you confirm that you have read, understood, and complied with our Policy on Artificial Intelligence (AI): The Berrow Foundation asks that your statements be original, truthful, and written in your own voice, so that the Selection Panel may gain an authentic picture of who you are. AI cannot replace your personality, judgement, and creativity. Using it to tell your story produces a generic result and weakens the individuality the Selection Panel is seeking. Using AI to generate substantive content, or to replace your own analysis and voice, is therefore not acceptable. Acceptable uses include checking spelling and grammar, summarising your draft, suggesting how to reach the required word count, and structuring your statement.
