Postgraduate Scholarships at Lincoln: Frequently Asked Questions
- How many awards can I apply for?
-
There is no limit to the amount of awards you are able to apply for. You may apply for multiple awards in your application, and you will be considered for all the awards for which you are eligible. It is possible for applicants to receive more than one award.
- How can I maximise my chances of receiving an award?
-
The vast majority of awards at Lincoln are made on a basis of both academic merit and financial need. We would encourage applicants to describe their suitability for these criteria in addition to the criteria for each individual award.
- How soon can I expect to hear back about my application?
-
We receive a high volume of applications each year and reviewing these can be a lengthy process. We hope to contact applicants towards the end of June.
- Will I hear back if I haven’t received any awards?
-
Yes. We respond to each applicant regardless of outcome. Unfortunately, due to the volume of applications, we are not able to provide feedback.
- Next year I will be outside my period of fee liability. Am I still eligible for any awards?
-
Candidates who will no longer be paying fees may apply for awards at Lincoln, but please note that priority is given to fee-paying applicants for the majority of awards.
- I’m a current student at another college. Can I apply for these awards?
-
Only applicants who are current students at Lincoln College or those in receipt of an offer from Lincoln are eligible for partial College awards. Fully-funded scholarships such as the Lincoln College Kingsgate Scholarship are open to all applicants, but please note that these do not require a separate application; eligible candidates will be considered automatically.
