Profile

I am an MPhil candidate in Development Studies, supported by a Rhodes Scholarship. My research examines the political economy of austerity, with a  specific focus on the implications of austerity on politics, and on the justice system in Jamaica. Previously, I studied Economics and Public Policy at Stanford University, with interdisciplinary honours in Democracy, Development and the Rule of Law.

I am currently the Convenor for the Rhodes Scholar Africa Forum, and a member of both the Oxford-ISIS Prison Initiative and Oxford's tennis team. I also sing in various R&B, soul, Afro-jazz, funk, and musical theatre projects.
