Profile

Working with the Fellow Archivist, Alison is responsible for the management of the College’s historic archive collections. This involves cataloguing and promoting the collections, alongside providing access for members of the College and external researchers to Lincoln’s administrative, estates, and personal papers collections. She is also the records manager for the College, and the point of contact for its works of art.

Alison will start at Lincoln College in the last week of October 2024, and she has previously held roles at St Peter’s and All Souls Colleges, Trinity College Dublin Library, Canterbury Cathedral Archives and Library, and the British Library’s Ancient, Medieval, and Early Modern curatorial team. She earned her PhD in Medieval History from University College London and holds a PGDip in Archive Administration from Aberystwyth University. Alison is currently an honorary researcher at the Centre of Medieval and Early Modern Studies, University of Kent.
