I decided to apply to join the telethon team for several reasons. Firstly, I am very excited about the opportunity to speak so some of the Lincoln alumni. It will be brilliant to hear about their experiences of Lincoln and some of the things that they have done after leaving the College. The telethon is also an excellent opportunity to share with the alumni how Lincoln has adapted to the pandemic, and how their kind donations have already helped the College to keep staff and students safe. The second reason I decide to apply was because of the welcoming nature of the Lincoln College community. Every member of the College I have spoken to during my year at Lincoln has been exceptionally kind, so I thought this might be a good way of demonstrating how thankful I am for this!
