Thanks to the generosity of our alumni, the Lincoln Telethon has successfully raised £212,325 towards the area of greatest need and also student support projects. We are enormously grateful to the Lincoln community for giving their time to speak with this year’s team of student callers.

All donations raised from the 2024 Telethon Campaign will contribute to the Lincoln 600 Campaign, and are received with immense gratitude. These generous contributions will help ensure that our students receive a first-class education and an enriching experience of College.

This year, our terrific team of 12 student callers connected with 372 alumni from around the world. The Telethon offered a wonderful opportunity for them to hear alumni stories about life at Lincoln and beyond, gain valuable career insights, and for alumni to support the next generation of students. The donations raised will help to fund students hardship awards, Study Skills Lecturers, student welfare projects, and relocation grants, etc.

The College would like to thank everyone who took part in the 2024 Telethon, including our brilliant student callers who worked tirelessly to make this campaign such a huge success.

Tiffany Luo, Fundraising and Database Officer, who led the Telethon, expressed her gratitude: “We are hugely grateful to our alumni for their wonderful support of the 2024 Telethon and our 600 Campaign, as well as for taking time to speak with our student callers. A big congratulations to the telethon team for representing the College so well and driving the campaign to a brilliant outcome!” (Tiffany Luo, Fundraising and Database Officer).

One of the student callers  shared their experience: “The telethon is a great chance to chat with alumni, hear career advice from people who were once in the same position as you, and have a good time for 2 weeks in Oxford with fun people in the same boat as you. We were able to go over target both years I worked the telethon while still having time for games, prizes, post-work pub trips, and fondue nights. “
