As part of Lincoln’s 600th Anniversary celebrations, we will be holding special ‘Decade Days’ in 2027 and 2028. Each event will be shaped by representatives from that decade, and will temporarily replace Gaudies, so please note there will be no Gaudies during those two years.
Alumni will be contacted by email about a year ahead of their Decade Day, with further details on activities, accommodation and more. All Decade Days will include a dinner in Hall. There will be a dinner on both the Friday and Saturday night so we can accommodate as many people as possible. Alumni will only be able to book dinner for one of the nights, so it is a good idea to coordinate with your friend groups. Alumni will receive an email roughly 2-3 weeks before registration opens and will be given the registration date then.
If you have suggestions for what you’d like to see included in your Decade Day, please email the Development Office. You can also find FAQs below. Please do let us know if you have any questions.

We have included a few frequently asked questions below, if you need any further information please contact us on development.office@lincoln.ox.ac.uk.
How will I be invited to my Decade Day?
All invitations will be sent via email with the registration link, so please ensure your contact details are up to date with us. Please also encourage your friends to check with us. You can let us know your contact details using our update form: https://lincoln.ox.ac.uk/alumni/update-your-details/.
Is the Decade Day replacing my Gaudy?
Your Decade Day will not be a replacement for your Gaudy. The Gaudy schedule has been paused for the anniversary year and will resume in late 2028. If you would like to know when your next Gaudy will be taking place, please contact the Development Office.
Can I book a room in College?
Yes, you should be able to book a room in College for the night of the dinner you decide to attend. Booking details will be included in the registration link.
Am I able to bring a guest to these dinners?
Unfortunately we are unable to accommodate guests at these dinners, however there will be plenty of opportunities to bring your family and friends to College during 2027/2028 – please see our 600th anniversary programme for more information.
Will there be a seating plan?
Yes there will be a seating plan for the dinners, please ensure you let us know who you would like to sit with on the booking form.
I associate more with another decade. Can I join another weekend instead?
Please contact us to discuss individual requests; we may be able to accommodate you. You can only celebrate during one of the weekends, so it may be a good idea to ask your friends which decade they will choose.
I haven’t been able to book a ticket, what can I do?
We are sorry that you were unable to secure a ticket to your Decade Day. Unfortunately, as we are restricted on our space, we are unable to take any further bookings, but please contact us and we will add your details to our waiting list and will be in touch should a place become available.
We will also be holding a virtual celebration on Saturday 9 October. Please email development.office@lincoln.ox.ac.uk if you would like to join this event.
