I completed my BA in English Language and Literature at Somerville College, Oxford and my MLitt in Romantic and Victorian Studies at the University of St Andrews, before returning to Oxford for my DPhil at Kellogg College.
College teaching
I teach Final Honour Schools Paper 5, 'Literature in English, 1760-1830'.

My current research focuses on the figure of Los the Eternal Prophet in William Blake's narratives of the 'fall into Division & Resurrection to Unity'. My research interests include prophecy, mythology, bibliography, and visual art in the long eighteenth century.
