Profile

Joscha read Physics and Mathematics at the University of Tübingen (Germany), graduating with a BSc in Mathematics and a MSc and BSc in Physics. For his PhD in Mathematics under supervision of László Erdös, he moved to the Institute of Science and Technology Austria (ISTA), where, in spring 2025, he defended his thesis on Modeling Complex Quantum Systems and received the institute’s Outstanding Thesis Award. The past year he spent as a postdoctoral researcher in the group of Antti Knowles at the University of Geneva (Switzerland).
