Profile

Rachel Leung is a research physician registered in both the United Kingdom and Hong Kong. My medical education was completed in Hong Kong as part of the Global Physician Leadership program, and I received additional training in biostatistics and epidemiological research at Brown University and the Big Data Institute of the University of Oxford.

Funded by the Rhodes Scholarship, I am reading a DPhil in Clinical Neurosciences under the guidance of Professor Peter Rothwell and Mr. Dominic Howard with a focus on stroke epidemiology.

College teaching

Rachel Leung is a DPhil student and Honorary Clinical Fellow at the Nuffield Department of Clinical Neurosciences. Her primary research interest is in multi-territory vascular disease epidemiology and risk prediction. Rachel currently works on investigating the incidence, risk factors, outcome and risk stratification of multi-territory vascular disease in high-risk patients, under the supervision of Professor Peter Rothwell and Mr Dominic Howard. She is selected as one of the 10 Young Reviewers at European Stroke Journal.
