  • Career Development Fellow in Economics

I studied for BA in Economics at Charles University, Prague, Czech Republic. Following this, I obtained my MPhil and PhD degrees at Darwin College, University of Cambridge. I have been a postdoc at Lincoln College and the Department of Economics, University of Oxford, since October 2017.

College teaching

I teach first-year macroeconomics (prelims) and second year core macroeconomics, which are a part of the PPE curriculum.

My research interests are in various areas in computational macroeconomics. During my PhD studies, I focused on optimal fiscal policy models in the presence of nonstationary distribution of labour productivities (for example increasing wage inequality). More recently, I have been working on the macroeconomic impact of uncertainty in the context of the aftermath of Brexit referendum.
