Spring Murray Society Day

Please join fellow members of the Murray Society for a visit to Dorney Court, a Grade I listed early Tudor manor house, dating from around 1440, located in the village of Dorney, Buckinghamshire. One of England’s loveliest houses, with a rare and enchanting character and passing through fourteen generations, it has been owned and lived in by the Palmer family.  Dorney Court is uniquely beautiful and has been designated as being of outstanding architectural and historical interest, being widely regarded for its diverse collection of portraits, furniture and art. Set amidst acres of mature parkland, encircled by well-tended yew hedges, it has regularly welcomed television and film productions and will be familiar from screen appearances.

  • 11:00 am       Tea, Coffee, and Homemade Cakes in the Great Hall
  • 11:30 am       Tour of Dorney Court
  • 1:15 pm         Lunch in the Crocus Garden Centre Café
  • 2.30 pm       Opportunity to stroll round the grounds and visit the gift shop

Menu choices for lunch will be provided following registrations, with main course and dessert options.
