Awards and Funding Officer

This post sits in both the College Office and the Development Office of Lincoln College.

The College Office is the department responsible for academic affairs related to all junior members of the College. It maintains records of students and teaching provision and liaises closely with other College departments. The Awards and Funding Officer administers all student funding and grants in the College Office, including bursaries, scholarships, grants, and prizes, as well as maintaining student finance data to facilitate the distribution of bursaries. They also support the management of student data within the College Office and provide administrative support in key areas such as admissions and student induction.

The Development Office is the department responsible for maintaining strong and effective relationships with alumni and friends of Lincoln College. The Awards and Funding Officer corresponds with donors regarding bursaries, maintains comprehensive lists of bursaries and scholarships awarded, and issues annual stewardship reports.

The successful candidate will have proven experience of financial and/ or grant administration, and an organised and detail-oriented approach. They will have strong IT skills, including competent use of Excel to keep track of expenditure, manipulate spreadsheets, manage databases.

Salary will be based on £32,332 - £41,732, NSP 25-34, per annum, with the entry point dependent on experience. Benefits include free lunches when on duty, a contributory staff pension scheme and holiday entitlement of 38 days per annum and 8 Bank Holidays.
